If you are using electrolysis to split water into its component elements, hydrogen and oxygen, where is the electricity coming from to do that which is not being added as resistance to the car's motion? What I'm getting at is you are re-oxidizing the hydrogen in the cylinder to extract the thermal energy, convert it to mechanical power and make the car move. You cannot extract any more energy out of the oxidation of hydrogen than what it took to split it apart, and even then there are huge losses with an internal combustion engine.. Where is the energy coming from to seperate the water that doesn't put negating loads on moving the car? It sounds like you have created a negative resistor, but I'm thinking I'm missing something with the setup - I really dont have a clue about how this thing is configured. " : the deposts are coming from the water, and just a hair from the electrodes. the water is common tap water. distilled water yields MUCH less hydrogen. tap water minerals aid in the splitting of hydrogen from the oxygen. however, it tends to boil the water. we are trying to keep boiling to a minimum as it could potentially allow acidic water to be sucked into the intake tract. there are many other things to consider that I have not meantioned. : While david has the hyundai going with hydrogen, I have been in contact with Aquamist and now have a few prototype parts from them to facility a better aquamist installtion. So thats ongoing as well. : not to mention working on the jeep on a daily basis and tearing down the 280z motor for it's rebuild. I always have my hands in stuff.
